At the Key clinic and our partners we have the technology and electronic expertise to repair most car keys on the market today. Including BMW, Audi, Opel, Nissan, Mercedes electronic keys, Renault key cards and many more.
If the buttons on your key have stopped working or in some cases the key no longer starts your vehicle, ie.(Renault Key Cards), you can have them repaired with us and back to their full working ability within 24 to 48 hours..
We advise all our customers to have a second key for their vehicle.(see our spare key section for this service). If you only have one key for your vehicle and it fails, it will still take 24/48 hours to repair your key.

The cost for key repairs/refurbishments can range from R250 to R700.00 inc vat. This will depend on the damage to your key.
We know what the common causes of key failure are, but do require the keys to be physically assessed.
When the damaged key is assessed our technicians will then be able to inform you of the cost to have the key repaired/refurbished.
Please note:
Because we get a high volume of keys in every week for repair/refurbishment we have had to introduce a numbered ticketing system. This not only helps us track the key through its various stages of repair in our laboratory but also it insures that our customers collect their key with minimal delay. When you are leaving your key into our workshop you will be giving one of our numbered tickets in exchange for your key. Please keep this ticket in a safe place as you will need to produce it when you are collecting your key. Also note that in some rare cases we are unable to repair/refurbish the key in the allocated time giving. This is down to how badly damaged the internals of the key are. However we must stress that we do our utmost and exhaust all avenues to have the key repaired/refurbished in the time allocated. When your key is ready for collection you will be notified by text to your mobile phone. All keys not collected within 4 weeks of notification are destroyed for obvious security reasons.
